Hello
There is nothing special about me, I am just another car guy who decided to write about his passion. My background is also very familiar to many gearheads around the world, I grew up surrounded by cars and motorcycles, going to car shows and races. My idea of literature was auto magazines and books about WWII airplanes.
My grandfather had a repair shop specialized in Ford Flathead V8 and he also was the chief mechanic of a race team, back in the 1950s. My father had his repair shop as well and he raced VW Beetles for a while.
For 8 years I worked as an auto parts consultant for two different restoration/speed shops in Brazil, and for all those years I was deeply involved with American classic cars, Hot Rods, and drag racing.
I am also crazy about airplanes and this passion made me join the Brazilian Air Force in 1988 and I also studied to become an aircraft maintenance technician.
In 2015, my wife and I left Brazil and moved to Canada, where I found a position as a parts guy, but at this time at a Nissan dealership, in Toronto, Canada.
