From time to time, my good friend Paulo “Kuelo” shares photos of his travels with the MRB Motorsports team. These trips involve drag-race competitions in both Brazil and the USA.

When I came to work for Powertech in 2008, Kuelo was already a veteran there. A couple of years ago, he left and joined MRB Motorsports, one of Brazil’s strongest drag racing teams.

During his 20-something years at Powertech and now at MRB, Kuelo has been a jack-of-all-trades, helping the team with whatever the job needs. He has also gained solid experience restoring classic car parts, including instrument clusters, taillights, hubcaps, and whatever else you put in front of him.

He also has a side hustle called Kuelo Custom Restorations.
I have made a 5-minute video with the best images he sent me. Some pics were taken in Brazil and some in the USA.
I hope you will enjoy it.
Nice little video. Surprised to see how many people were standing alongside the track when those cars were doing burnouts, they have great faith they don’t break loose!

First, I thought that mess of people at the starting line was in Brazil, but it was actually during the Winter Series Pro Mod, in Florida. What a disorganized event; I was shocked.
