High River Show and Shine

One of the coolest things about this blog is that friends and relatives keep sending me pictures from their travels and classic car meetings.

This time, my good friend Márcio Ribeiro, who lives in Calgary, AB, sent me a photo coverage of the 5th High River Show and Shine.

We met Márcio and his family back in 2015, when we lived in Winnipeg. Later, he moved to Calgary, and I moved to Edmonton.

The High River Show is supposed to be the biggest classic car meeting in the Canadian Prairies. This year, the organizers expected over 1,000 cars.

Here are some of the highlights.

Starting with some German steel.

To serve and protect.

Keep it shining.

Riding through the zombie apocalypse in style.

1956 Chevy Bel Air convertible. Look at that blue ragtop.

Baby blue 1957 T-Bird.

The “Striped Tomato”

And some Japanese steel.

Let’s go surfing.

I believe she is my favorite. Here, take my money.

And some Swedish steel.

I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did, and I look forward to seeing you again next time.
